I Guess I am a Weener Dog, Not a Tiger

Jackie: "Annie, I am sorry I laughed! Valerie has a real tiger in her room--let's go and see it."

Annie: "That is a tiger? But it is orange with stripes---like us!"

Jackie: "Yes, that is a real tiger. It is a tigris felinus catus and remember, we are canus weener doguses."

Annie: "But I don't see any teeth--I have very big teeth.

Jackie: "That is because it is a quiet tiger and he keeps his mouth closed."

Annie: "Thank you for clearing this up for me, Jackie. I am sure you can understand why I was confused."

Jackie: "Just because someone is orange with stripes, that doesn't make her a tiger. Besides, it is MUCH better to be a dog than a cat, even a tiger cat! I love you Annie."
