Desert Dogs

Cookie: "Jackie, Annie and I are desert dogs. We like living in the desert because the weather is almost always sunny and warm. There aren't many days when the weather keeps us from our walk!

"Sometimes the weather is cold and rainy, even in the desert. We do not like it. The best place to be on a cold, rainy day is on Mama's bed.




"Since I am Mama's personal dog, she lets me get on her bed, especially since I am a very clean and nice-smelling dog. "

Jackie: "I like to get on Mama's bed too. I smell very nice!"

Cookie: "Well, Mama doesn't let you get on her bed because you mess it up; when I get on it and I keep it neat."

Jackie: "Cookie, this is what the bed looks like when you get off of it". . . .
